Road surfacing works planned for w/c 3rd June 2014

Last week Transport for Buckinghamshire repaired 425 potholes on the roads of Bucks. A further 853 potholes were treated using jet patcher vehicles.

A total of 149 street light faults were also repaired.

The second cut of the grass verges throughout the County also commended in the last week.

In the week commencing the following roads are scheduled to undergo treatment, weather permitting:

Tuesday 27th May – Tuesday 3rd June: A40 Oxford Road, Gerrards Cross : Night works carried out utilising a road closure.

Monday 2nd June: Bourton Road, Buckingham : Daytime work carried out utilising a road closure.

Monday 2nd June – Friday 6th June: Potkiln Lane, Jordans : Daytime works carried out utilising a road closure.

Monday 2nd June – Friday 6th June: Elm Road, Penn : Daytime works carried out utilising temporary traffic lights.

W/c Monday 2nd June (exact date to be confirmed) Main Road, Akeley : Daytime preparation works carried out utilising temporary traffic lights.

Tuesday 3rd June: Arundel Road, High Wycombe : Daytime prep works including some tree cutting carried out utilising give and take and stop and go.

Wednesday 4th June – Friday 6th June: Windsor Road, Gerrards Cross : Night works carried out utilising a road closure.

Thursday 5th June – Tuesday 10th June: Arundel Road/Warwick Avenue/Carisbrook Road/Rydal Way, High Wycombe : Daytime works carried out utilising an informal road closure.
