The Inbetweeners 2 is the sequel to the 2011 movie ‘The Inbetweeners’ and a spin off from the popular Channel 4 television series of the same name.

This time Will (Simon Bird), Neil (Blake Harrison) and Simon (Joe Thomas) travel to Australia to join Jay (James Buckley) who, in his gap year, claims to be running a nightclub and living in a large mansion. Believing Jay they travel to Australia to join him for a holiday only to find is actually working as a toilet attendant and living in a tent in his uncle’s garden.

We follow the boys as they visit the Splash Planet water theme park and journey into the Australian outback where they get stranded without water when their car, decorated in pictures of Peter Andre, runs out of petrol.

The 2011 movie set a UK box office record for the biggest opening weekend for a comedy film in the UK so the sequel to the original film had a lot to live up to. On it’s opening day The Inbetweeners 2 surpassed the record set by the original grossing £2.75m on its opening day.

Although the style of humour in the film may not be to everyone’s taste the film is extremely funny. In fact this is probably one of the funniest films I have seen in ages, it’s definitely worth seeing. This is a film you will remember for ages, it’s a must-see.
