Mansfield Town 0-2 Wycombe Wanderers

Wycombe Wanderers secured a decisive two goal victory over Mansfield Town on Saturday 31st October 2015.

Wycombe stamped their dominance on the match in the eighth minute when a close range headed goal from Luke O’Nein gave Wycombe the lead.

Mansfield made several attempts on goal during the game but they were no match for Matt Ingram in the Wycombe goal. Despite the onslaught from Mansifled the Blues kept their cool and pressed on. In the ninetieth minute they were rewarded with a second, match winning goal, from Aaron Amadi-Holloway.

The match possession stats show 50% for both teams however when it comes to attempts on goal Mansfield made thirteen attempts on the Wycombe goal (seven on target) compared to six attempts on goal for Wycombe of which just two were on target.

The match saw twenty fouls, eleven from Mansfield players and nine from Wycombe.

Wycombe are now in ninth place in League Two with twenty five points from fifteen games.

The attendance at Field Mill was 3,165 (345 from Wycombe).
