Machete wielding robber steals cash during raid in Aylesbury

At around 7.00pm on Friday 22nd January 2016 a man entered Tool Station, in Gatehouse Way and threatened two members of staff with a machete.

The man then forced the staff to open a safe and the till. He left the premises with a quantity of cash. No one was injured during the incident.

The offender is described as white and was wearing dark clothing. His face was partially covered by a hat and scarf.

Investigating officer Det Con Richard Bazeley said: ‘Detectives are investigating the incident and we are appealing for anyone with information to contact police. If you saw anything suspicious in the area of Gatehouse Way at around the time of the incident please come forward and speak to police.

Thames Valley Police are appealing for anyone with information about the incident which could assist the investigation please call the 24-hour Thames Valley Police enquiry centre on 101.
