Wycombe Wanderers welcomed Accrington Stanley to Adams Park on Saturday 30th April 2016 for their last home game of the season.

Wycombe started well, in the tenth minute Paul Hayes came close to scoring but his long range narrowly missed the Accrington goal. Shortly after both Michael Harriman and Jason McCarthy came close to scoring but the back of the goal was elusive.

Despite a series of chances for Accrington the score was goalless at half time.

The match slipped from Wycombe in the seventy eighth minute when Mark Hughes scored for Accrington from close range after Wycombe’s keeper tipped a free kick from Josh Windass onto the goal post.

Wycombe now find themselves in tenth place in League Two with sixty four points from forty five games.

During the game Wycombe failed to place any of their eight shots at the Accrington goal on target while the visitors managed to place five of their ten shots on target.

The match saw twenty six fouls, sixteen from Wycombe and ten from Accrington.

The attendance at Adams Park was 4,041 (584 from Accrington Stanley).
