Pregnant woman kicked in the stomach during horrific assault in Dashwood Avenue, High Wycombe

An appeal for information has been launched by Thames Valley Police after a pregnant woman was assaulted in Dashwood Avenue, High Wycombe.

On Tuesday 27th September 2016, at about 12.51pm, a 20 year old woman was outside Dashwood Newsagents in Dashwood Avenue, High Wycombe when she was approached by a man and three women.

One of the women assaulted the victim by throwing a can of drink at her head before dragging her to the floor and kicking her in the stomach.

During the assault the 20 year old woman sustained cuts and bruises to her head and stomach. The woman attended Stoke Mandeville Hospital for treatment to her injuries and has since been discharged. The unborn child was not injured during the incident.

The offenders were all approximately 20 years old and drove away in a black Range Rover Evoque.

Investigating officer, PC Leigh Andrews based at High Wycombe police station, said: ‘This was an unprovoked attacked on a pregnant woman. Thankfully the victim only sustained minor injuries during the incident however it is important that we identify the offenders.
