Fire severely damages house in Booker Place, High Wycombe

Fire broke out in a two storey mid terrace house in Booker Place, High Wycombe during the afternoon of Saturday 3rd June 2017.

Firefighters were called at 4.17pm. One fire appliance with crew attended from High Wycombe fire station, one from Gerrards Cross fire station, one from Beaconsfield fire station, three from Berkshire and two from Oxfordshire. Three officers also attended.

Two main jets, two hose reels, six sets of breathing apparatus, a turntable ladder and a drone were used during the operation to extinguish the fire.

A woman was taken to hospital suffering from burns.

The house was severely damaged by fire while the first floors of the two houses on either side sustained damaged by fire and smoke.
