Firefighters rescue three people following collision between car and van on M40

On Wednesday 2nd August 2017 a collision involving a car and a van occurred on the Northbound carriageway of the M40 northbound between Junctions 3 (Loudwater) and Junction 4 (Handy Cross).

Firefighters were called to the incident at 7.54pm. Two fire appliances with crews attended from Beaconsfield fire station and one from Gerrards Cross fire station. An officer also attended.

The firefighters used hydraulic rescue equipment to release two men and a woman who were trapped in the van. An injured man and three women were out of the car when the firefighters arrived.
