Boy injured following collision involving one car on M40

A collision involving one car occurred on the Northbound carriageway of the M40 during the evening of Monday 14th August 2017.

The collision happened between Junction 4 (Handy Cross) and Junction 5 (Stokenchurch).

Firefighters were called to the scene at 8.08pm. Two fire appliances with crews attended from High Wycombe fire station as well as one from Beaconsfield fire station. An officer also attended.

Nobody was trapped as a result of the collision however a woman and a boy suffered what were believed to be minor injuries. Another boy and two men were uninjured.

The firefighters made the scene safe before leaving.
