Girl, 13, attacked on Frogmoor, High Wycombe

A teenage girl has been injured after being attacked on Frogmoor, High Wycombe.

The incident occurred on Friday 18th August 2017 at around 2.25pm. A 13 year old girl had been sitting with her friends on a bench next to the taxi rank in Frogmoor, High Wycombe.

The 13 year old girl was then the victim of an unprovoked assault in which a teenage girl grabbed her hair and started to kick her and was pulled her off the bench by her hair and on to the ground.

The victim was able to run away to the nearby KFC restaurant but was assaulted again when the offender ran after her and pushed her to the ground.

A second girl then kicked the 13 year old girl in the head and punched her while she was on the ground. Both offenders then ran away.

During the assault the victim sustained bruising to her head, back and arms and suffered hair loss. The injured girl attended Wycombe Minor Injuries Unit for treatment for the injuries sustained during the assault.

The first offender is described as white aged around 15 years old, with long red/ginger hair in a ponytail, thin build, wearing a grey long sleeved top and black leggings.

The second offender is also described as white, aged around 15 years old, with long dark curly hair, wearing a white polo top and black leggings. She was carrying a black handbag.

Investigating officer PC Leigh Andrews, based at High Wycombe police station, said: ‘The area was busy at the time of the offence and it is likely people in the area would have witnessed the incident. If anyone has any information about what happened please contact officers.
