Woman given oxygen following fire in Prestwood

Fire broke out in the kitchen of a property in the High Street, Prestwood shortly before midnight on Tuesday 7th November 2017.

At 11.59pm firefighters were called. Two fire appliances with crews attended from High Wycombe fire station as well as one from Amersham fire station. An officer also attended.

A hose reel, two sets of breathing apparatus, thermal imaging camera and a Positive Pressure Ventilation fan were used by the firefighters during the operation to extingush the fire.

A woman who was suffering from the effects of breathing in smoke was given oxygen.
