Car stolen at gunpoint during armed robbery in Stokenchurch

A car has been stolen at gunpoint in Stokenchurch.

The theft took place on Wednesday 9th May 2018 at around 11.30pm.

A 44 year old man from Buckinghamshire had placed an advert on an auction website selling his grey BMW M3. A group of men answered the advert, claiming to be genuinely interested in buying the car.

The victim accompanied the men in the car when they took it for a test drive however as they turned onto Bolters End the men threatened the man with a gun and told him to get out of the car before driving off.

During the incident the 44 year old man sustained a slight scratch to his right cheek after the gun was held to his face.

The offender that drove the victim’s vehicle is described as Asian, aged 20 to 25-years-old, between 5ft 6in and 5ft 7in, skinny or slim build with short dark scruffy hair and a scruffy short beard and wearing dark casual clothing. He introduced himself as Mohammed.

The offender who sat as a rear passenger in the victim’s vehicle is also described as Asian, aged 25 to 30-years-old, 5ft 11in and slightly overweight. He had shorter dark hair and was wearing a white top. This is the man who threatened the victim with a gun.

The men arrived in a VW Golf. The driver of this vehicle was not seen.

Detective Constable Rachael Peddie from Force CID in High Wycombe said: ‘I am appealing to anyone who may have seen a grey BMW M3 and VW Golf in convoy after 11.30pm on Wednesday night (9/5).
