Man stabbed during assault in Juniper Drive, High Wycombe

A man was stabbed and sustained chest injuries during an assault in Juniper Drive, High Wycombe on Wednesday 12th December 2018.

Some time between 6.20pm and 6.30pm a man aged in his twenties was in Juniper Drive, High Wycombe when he became involved in an altercation with two other men.

During the altercation the man in his twenties was stabbed and sustained chest injuries. He was taken to hospital for treatment where he remains in a serious but stable condition.

Investigating officer Detective Constable Alex Trevivian, of High Wycombe Force CID, said: ‘I would like to take this opportunity to reassure the public that this incident is not being linked to any other similar assaults in the area and does not appear to be random.

Two people have been arrested in connection with this incident.

An investigation is ongoing and I would like anyone with information to contact police.

On Wednesday 12th December 2018 police arrested a 26 year old man and a 17 year old boy, both from High Wycombe, on suspicion of grievous bodily harm with intent.
