Boy in critical condition following collision with car in Bowerdean Road, High Wycombe

A boy was rushed to hospital in a critical condition following a collision with a car in Bowerdean Road, High Wycombe.

The collision, between a black Vauxhall Astra and an 11 year old pedestrian, occurred about 12.50pm on Saturday 2nd March 2019. The driver of the Astra stopped at the scene following the collision.

The 11 year old boy sustained a serious head injury and was taken to the John Radcliffe Hospital in Oxford where he remains in a critical condition.

Thames Valley Police are appealing for information and witnesses to the collision.

Investigating officer, PC Nigel Rosier said: ‘I am appealing to anyone with information about the collision, or any who witnessed the collision to please contact police as soon as possible.
