10 year old child seriously injured in a collision on the A404 in Marlow

A 10 year old child was seriously injured in a collision in Marlow on Saturday 29th July 2019.

At about 1.30am, a white Citroen C3 was travelling on the southbound carriageway of the A404 approaching the Bisham roundabout. The vehicle collided with the central reservation barrier which caused the vehicle to roll.

The driver, a 39 year old woman and the front passenger, a 13 year old boy, sustained minor injuries. However a 10 year old boy who was a passenger in the rear was ejected from the car causing him to break his shoulder and pelvis.

The 10 year old boy was taken to hospital for treatment where he remains.

Investigating officer, PC Mark Harris, of the Joint Operations Unit for Roads Policing, said: ‘I would like to speak to anyone who witnessed this collision or who saw the car travelling shortly before the incident.
