Man charged with attempted murder following incident in Chesham

A man has been charged with attempted murder following an incident that occurred in Chesham on Thursday 18th July 2019.

The man, aged 22, of no fixed abode was arrested on Tuesday 6th August 2019 in West Yorkshire and was charged on Wednesday 7th August 2019.

The charges are in connection with an incident of attempted murder that occurred on Thursday 18th July 2019 in Alexander Street at the junction with Berhampstead Road in Chesham when a man suffered a severe leg injury and a stab wound. The victim has since been discharged from hospital.

The 22 year old man appeared at High Wycombe Magistrates Court and has been remanded in custody until Monday 9th September 2019 when he is due to appear at Aylesbury Crown Court.
