Man assaulted following collision involving three cars at a zebra crossing in Aylesbury

A man was assaulted following a collision involving three cars in Aylesbury on Friday 8th November 2019.

The collision occurred at around 9.35am at a zebra crossing in Gatehouse Road, close to the junction with Bicester Road.

A green BMW, a grey Ford Focus and a blue Audi S3 were involved in the collision after which it was then reported to police that there was an altercation between the occupants of the vehicles.

A woman police believe was driving the Ford Focus assaulted a man in his forties who police believe was driving the blue Audi. The man was punched and spat at during the assault but did not require hospital treatment.

Following the incident officers from Thames Valley Police are looking for a woman in her twenties as part of their investigation into the assault.

Investigating officer PC Lauren Goodwin based at Aylesbury police station, said: ‘As part of this investigation, we would like to speak to anyone who may have witnessed this incident.
