Men armed with handgun and knife carry out robbery in Stokenchurch

A robbery occurred in Stokenchurch on Saturday 30th November 2019.

Between about 5.00pm and 6.00pm a black BMW X5 pulled up in Marlow Road, near the junction of Hartmoor Close, in Stokenchurch. Two men got of the BMW, one of the men was armed with knife and the other was armed with a handgun.

The two men approached a 35 year old man who was walking along the road and robbed him of his mobile phone, wallet and black leather jacket. The 35 year old pedestrian was not injured during the incident.

Police are looking for two men in connection with the incident :

  • The first man is described as black, aged in late forties and is about 5ft10ins to 6ft tall with a proportionate build, short black cropped hair and clean shaven. He was wearing dark clothing.
  • The man is described as black, aged in his mid-thirties and is about 5ft10ins to 6ft tall with an average build and with very short black cropped hair. He was also wearing dark clothing.

Investigating officer, Detective Constable Jonathan Harland, based at High Wycombe police station, said: ‘This was a concerning incident, and I am appealing for anyone with any information relating to it to come forward.
