Police appeal for witnesses following fatal road traffic collision in Wooburn Green

Police are appealing for witnesses following a fatal road traffic collision in Wooburn Green in which an 85 year old man sadly died.

On Monday 18th May 2020, at around 3.20pm, a blue Toyota Yaris was travelling on White Pit Lane in Wooburn Green from the direction of Flackwell Heath. The vehicle left the road and collided with a garden wall.

At 3.23pm firefighters were called to the incident. Two fire appliances with crews attended from High Wycombe fire station. An officer also attended

The firefighters released a seriously injured man from the vehicle but sadly he died at the scene.

Sergeant Keith Rayner, of the Joint Operations Unit for Roads Policing based at Milton Keynes, said: ‘Tragically, as a result of this collision, a local man has passed away despite the best efforts of medical professionals.

At this stage, we believe no other vehicles were involved, but we would appeal for anybody who witnessed the collision or who may have dash-cam footage of the collision to get in touch with police.
