Police appeal for witnesses following road traffic collision involving four vehicles in The Pastures, High Wycombe

An appeal for witnesses has been launched by Thames Valley Police following a road traffic collision in High Wycombe on Monday 25th May 2020.

Four vehicles were involved in the collision which occurred in The Pastures, Downley, High Wycombe at around 6.00pm.

The collision involved a black BMW, a silver Citroen C3 while two parked vehicles, were also damaged. The parked vehicles were a silver Ford Ranger and a black Citroen C3.

Police believe the black BMW seemed to attempt to overtake the silver Citroen C3 when the collision occurred.

Following the collision, two men in the BMW fled the scene of the collision. The two men are described as Asian, one was wearing a black tracksuit and was aged between 18 and 20 years old.

At 6.11pm firefighters were called to the incident. Two fire appliances with crews attended from High Wycombe fire station. Two officers also attended.

Nobody was trapped following the collision however a man suffered what were believed to be minor injuries. The firefighters assisted officers from Thames Valley Police with safety at the scene of the collision.

Investigating officer PC Tom Smith of the Roads Policing Team, said: ‘We would like to speak to anyone who has information about this collision.

If you know who could have been in the BMW, we would really like to speak to them.

It was very fortunate that no-one was injured in this collision, it could have been much worse.
