Man injured as two articulated lorries collide on the M40

A man was injured when two articulated lorries collided on the M40 during the morning of Monday 22nd June 2020.

A 6.28am firefighters were called to the incident on the Northbound carriageway of the M40 between Junction 3 (Loudwater) and Junction 4 (Handy Cross).

One fire appliance with crew attended from Beaconsfield fire station, one from High Wycombe fire station, one from Gerrards Cross fire station and two Urban Search and Rescue vehicles from Aylesbury. Three officers also attended.

The firefighters used rescue equipment to release an injured man from the vehicle in which he had been travelling.
