Three cars collided on the southbound carriageway of the M40

A collision involving three cars occurred on the Southbound carriageway of the M40 during the rush hour on the evening of Thursday 17th November 2016.

The collision occurred between Junction 2 (Beaconsfield) and Junction 1a (M25 interchange).

Firefighters were called to the scene at 5.42pm. One fire appliance with crew attended from Beaconsfield fire station as well as one from Gerrards Cross fire station.

Nobody was trapped or injured as a result of the collision.

The firefighters made the scene safe.
