Roadworks in Buckinghamshire for the week ahead – Monday 22nd April 2024

Week commencing Monday 22nd April 2024 roadworks are scheduled to take place at the following locations in Buckinghamshire.

The works are part of a rolling programme. As some activities are weather dependent the dates may change at short notice.

Plane and Patch Works

Walton Street, Aylesbury : Monday 22nd April 2024 to Thursday 25th April 2024 – Plane and patch surfacing works using a road closure. In operation between 8.00pm and 6.00am.

Surface Dressing Preparation Works

Risborough Road, Great Kimble : Monday 22nd April 2024 to Thursday 25th April 2024 – Surface dressing patching works using a road closure. In operation between 8.00pm and 6.00am.

Street Lighting Works

Buckinghamshire – Various Locations : Upgrade of LED lanterns.
Buckinghamshire – Various Locations : Upgrade of illuminated signs and bollards (located on central traffic islands and roundabouts).
Buckinghamshire – Various Locations : Upgrade of damaged street lighting columns and removal or damaged stumps.
Buckinghamshire – Belisha Beacons – Various Locations : Upgrade, improvement and re-instatement of beacons, lanterns and posts.
Buckinghamshire – School wig wag units – Various Locations : Upgrade of existing flashing units to Bluetooth technology enabled and corrections / reinstatements to advanced warning signs.

Footway Works

Church Road, Penn : Monday 4th March 2024 to Wednesday 24th April 2024 – Footway resurfacing works using a footway closure and temporary traffic lights. In operation between 7.00am and 7.00pm.

Drainage Works

Bois Moor Road, Chesham Bois : Monday 4th March 2024 to Tuesday 23rd April 2024 – Drainage repair works using multi-way temporary traffic lights. In operation between 9.30am and 3.30pm.

A40 London Road, Gerrards Cross : Friday 19th April 2024 to Tuesday 23rd April 2024 – Drainage investigation works using multi-way temporary traffic lights. In operation between 8.00pm and 6.00am.

Rectory Hill, Amersham : Monday 22nd April 2024 to Friday 26th April 2024 – Drainage investigation works using multi-way temporary traffic lights. In operation between 9.30am and 3.30pm.

Traffic Calming Works

London Road, Aston Clinton : Tuesday 2nd April 2024 to Tuesday 20th August 2024 – Traffic calming works using a combination of both two-way and three-way temporary traffic lights. In operation between 8.00am and 5.00pm.
