Car catches fire in Marlow High Street
A car caught fire in Marlow High Street this afternoon, Tuesday 25th March 2014. Firefighters were called at 4.42pm and one fire appliance and crew from Marlow fire station attended however the fire had been put out before they arrived.
Chimney fire in Lacey Green
A chimney fire spreads to beam at a property in Pink Road, Lacey Green. One appliance and crew from Princes Risborough and one from High Wycombe attended the incident at 9.08pm on Monday 24th march 2014. Firefighters used chimney gear, a thermal imaging camera and a saw.
Paddock gate cut in Longwick
Between 17.30pm on Saturday 22nd March 2014 and 16.45 on Sunday 23rd March 2014 unknown offenders cut away mesh on a paddock gate in Bar Lane, Longwick. Fire on wasteground in Marlow
On Monday 24th March 2014 at around 8.41pm firefighters were called to attend to rubbish that had caught fire on waste ground next to A404, Marlow. One appliance and crew from Marlow attended. Water backpacks were used to extinguish the fire.
Caravan destroyed by fire in Booker
A caravan in Clay Lane, Booker was destroyed in a fire on Monday evening (24th March 2014) at around 7.31pm. Three fire appliances and crews from High Wycombe and one from Princes Risborough attended and used two jets and one hose reel during the incident.
Firefighters called to bonfire
Firefighters from High Wycombe fire station were busy on the evening of Monday 24th March 2014 when at 7.03pm they were called to a bonfire in Chairborough Road, High Wycombe. One appliance and crew attended.
Create Henley festival of creativity to take place next weekend
Create Henley, a festival of creativity, will take place next weekend in Henley-On-Thames from 10.00am to 4.00pm on Saturday 29th and Sunday 30th March 2014. On Sunday 23rd March 2014 at approximately 11.28am firefighters were called to Slough Lane, Saunderton following reports of a sofa on fire in field. One appliance and crew from High Wycombe attended.
Theft from vehicle in Prestwood
Police are appealing for witnesses after a vehicle parked on a driveway in Green Lane, Prestwood was entered and property stolen.
