Poor weather forecast forces postponement of A404/M40 Handy Cross roundabout works

A forecast of poor weather has resulted in the postponement of planned resurfacing works at the Handy Cross A404/M40 Junction 4 roundabout in High Wycombe.

Continuing resurfacing works were scheduled to take place from Friday 2nd March 2018 to Monday 5th March 2018 resulting in the roundabout and approach roads being closed for a third weekend running.

Highways England has liaised with Buckinghamshire County Council, Wycombe District Council and Royal Borough of Windsor & Maidenhead to re-programme the works for the weekend of Friday 16th March with the works starting at 9.00pm on Friday 16th March 2018 and lasting until 5.00am on Monday 19th March.

Advanced warning signage, provided by Highways England, will be displayed to inform motorists before the rescheduled works start.
