Disruption expected in Crendon Street, High Wycombe due to gas main repairs

Disruption is expected in Crendon Street, High Wycombe starting on Monday 18th March 2019 due to gas main repair work.

For the past few weeks Cadent Gas has been carrying out gas mains installation work on Castle Street and Crendon Street in High Wycombe. However while carrying out the work it has been discovered that significant additional work additional work is needed to the the gas main on Crendon Street.

To complete the work safely and maintain supply to the properties in the area, Transport for Buckinghamshire (TfB) will be allowing Cadent Gas to close one lane on Crendon Street for five days and nights starting on Monday 18th March 2019.

The work is expected to be completed by Monday 25th March 2019.

During the partial closure there will be appropriate traffic management put in place to ensure traffic flows as smoothly as possible.
