MATCH REPORT – 1-0 defeat at Bury sees Blues slide to 22nd in League Two

| February 2, 2014

A goal from Bury striker Anton Forrester in the 34th minute was enough to earn three points for Bury and send Wycombe Wanderers home one place closer to relegation.

Fielding a team unchanged for the last three fixtures Wycombe made a positive start to the match with skipper Stuart Lewis placing the first shot on target which was duly saved by the Bury keeper.

It was a closely fought battle with Wycombe hvaing 46% posession and earning three yellow cards compared to Bury’s two.

The defeat sees Wycombe slide to 29th position in Sky Bet League Two, just one place from the relegation zone, having earned just twenty nine points from twenty eight games this season.

Attendance 2,818.
