Six cars and van in crash on M40

There was a road traffic collision on the eastbound carriageway of the M40 today at approximately 1.42pm involving six cars and a van. The accident took place between Junction 2 (Beaconsfield) and Junction 1a (the M25 interchange).

Two injured women were released by firefighters. Three fire engines and their crews attended the scene.
