Hazlemere residents warned about scammer

Local police officers are warning Hazlemere residents about a male allegedly going door to door.

After claiming to have previously done work on their property the male then claims to have broken down nearby and asks for money for fuel which will be repaid later however he fails to show up to repay the money.

The male is described as white, approximately 40 years old, average build with short dark hair.

Anyone visited by this male is urged to contact Thames Valley Police either on 999 or non emergency number 101.
