Motorists asked to remain vigilant after four thefts in two days

Motorists are being asked to remain vigilant by Thames Valley Police following four vehicle related thefts in two days.

Between Monday, 17th February 2014, and  Tuesday 18th February 2014, four incidents of theft occurred in the High Wycombe area  which police believe may be linked.

Number plates were stolen from a parked car in Summerleys Road and another vehicle parked in Rosebery Avenue also has its number plate stolen.

In the John Lewis car park two vehicles had their windows smashed and were searched however it is unclear if anything was stolen.

Police in High Wycombe are asking motorists to check their vehicle security and follow the crime prevention tips that are available on the Thames Valley Police website. If you see anyone acting suspiciously in or around a vehicle, please make sure you call the police on 101. If you should see a crime in progress, call 999.
