Man assaulted in Lancaster Road

A 25-year-old man was assaulted in the car park of the Screwfix shop in Lancaster Road, High Wycombe on Sunday 2nd March 2014 at about 4.00pm.

The victim sustained a serious cut to his upper lip and was treated at the John Radcliffe Hospital, Oxford. He has since been discharged.

The offender is described as black, aged in his thirties, with short dark hair and of stocky build and prior to the alleged assault was driving a silver Seat Leon.

The victim of the assault was in another vehicle and they were both driving in Desborough Park Road and Rutland Avenue.

Police are appealing for witnesses who may have seen either vehicle prior to the incident or the alleged offence itself. If you can assist the police with their enquiries please contact the Thames Valley Police Enquiry Centre on 101.
