Wycombe earned three much needed points on Saturday against Dagenham & Redbridge at Adams Park.
The first half was entertaining enough but it really came alive when Dagenham’s Doe was sent off just before half time following an incident with Wycombe’s Steven Craig.
A ten man Dagenham were no match for Wycombe and in the 47th minute Craig scored from the penalty spot for Wycombe when Lewis was fouled by Dagenham’s Brian Saah.
Shortly after, in the 58th minute, Kretzschmar gave the Wanderers an unassailable lead securing the win for Wycombe and ending Dagenham’s eight-game unbeaten run.
During the game Wycombe placed seven shots on target with Dagenham’s managing just one.
Despite Saturday’s win Wycombe still hang precariously one place and three points above the relegation zone at 22nd in League Two.
The attendance at Adams Park was 3,013.
