Three arrested following shooting in Wycombe

Three people have been arrested by Thames Valley Police following a disturbance in High Wycombe on the evening of Sunday 11th May 2014.

Officers from Thames Valley Police were called to the Lucas Wood area close to Underwood Road at around 8.40pm on Sunday 11th May 2014 following reports of a disturbance and gunshots being heard.

Five people were injured in the incident, three of whom suffered gunshot wounds for which they are received treatment. None of the injuries are believed to be life threatening.

A 16 year-old boy and two men aged 18 and 19 have been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder and remain in Police custody.

Uniformed officers and forensic teams continue to be deployed at a number of scenes including in Lucas Woods and Freemantle Road.
