Robin Hood comes to Amersham & Wycombe College

Robin Hood will be coming to Amersham & Wycombe College on Thursday 29th & Friday 30th May 2014 in a new play by writer Kevin Dyer.

The play will be performed outdoors by acting students in the College’s Amphitheatre at the Amersham Centre starting at 8.00pm.

As part of their research the acting students have taken lessons in stage combat and have had archery lessons from Buckinghamshire longbow champion Stephen Sharrat. The show is suitable for all merry men and women from the age of five upwards.

This latest version is a radical reworking of the legend which is set in a Dystopian England of the future where society has reverted to a feudal system of government.

As this is an outdoor show remember to bring suitable clothing, cushions, blankets or foldable chairs.  Theatre goers can also take advantage a bar and barbeque on the night.  The event takes place at, Amersham & Wycombe College, Stanley Hill, HP7 9HN.
