Former Downley Donkey pub listed as Asset of Community Value

Wycombe District Council has added the former Downley Donkey pub to their list of Assets of Community Value.

The former pub in Plomer Green Lane, Downley which shut on Sunday 1st March 2014 will be included on the list for the next five years.

However the listing will not prevent the premises being turned into a Morrisons Local store, a planning application for which was submitted to Wycombe District Council on 27th March 2014.

The planning application is currently pending consideration by Wycombe District Council and includes the construction of single storey rear extension, addition of an externally accessed ATM, installation of automatically operated glazed entrance door and external high level car park security lighting.
