Waitrose to open store at Handy Cross Hub

Wycombe District Council have announced that Waitrose will open a store at the Handy Cross Hub in 2015.

Currently under construction the Handy Cross Hub will also includes the new state-of-the-art sports and leisure centre.

With over 2,300 square metres of trading space the new Waitrose store will sell a full range of Waitrose and branded products. On the ground-floor of the store will be retail, including a winery, bakery and fresh new service counters serving meat, fish and delicatessen.

The new store will provide on-line shopping deliveries through Waitrose.com and will also offer the Waitrose Delivery Service where customers can shop in the branch and then have those groceries delivered to their homes by van.

It is anticipated that the new Waitrose store will create around 160 new jobs in High Wycombe.
