Bus destroyed by fire in Stokenchurch

A single deck bus caught fire in Marlow Road, Stokenchurch on Wednesday 11th June 2014.

Buckinghamshire Fire & Rescue were alerted to the incident at 5.10pm and one fire appliance with crew was despatched from Stokenchurch fire station.

Two hose reels and two sets of breathing apparatus were used to extinguish the fire.

The bus operated by Arriva was destroyed in the fire which closed Marlow Road for a short time.
