Broken down freight train caused rail chaos

Commuters travelling out of London Marylebone faced delays this evening, Thursday 12th June 2014, due to service disruption caused by a broken down freight train on the Northbound line between Gerrards Cross and Seer Green.

At one time tickets are were being accepted on Arriva Bus route number 300 between Aylesbury and High Wycombe via Princes Risborough.

Although the line has now re-opened and services are returning to normal the disruption is expected to last until 20.00pm on Thursday 12th June 2014.
