Marylebone signal fire UPDATE 17.00pm on 16/06/2014 : Repairs ongoing
Despite the best efforts of engineers Marylebone station remained closed on the evening of Monday 16th June 2014 following a fire in signalling cables in St Johns Wood tunnel on the approach to the station.
The last update from Chiltern Railways, posted on their website at 17.00pm on Monday 16th June 2014, stated the following : ‘Due to the severity of the damage, repair works may affect the morning of Tuesday 17th June. Please check our website before travelling.‘
