Buckinghamshire County Council awarded £1.46m for pothole repairs

Buckinghamshire County Council has been awarded £1,463,514 from the Department for Transport for pothole repairs.

As part of this years Budget the Government announced that £168m would be made available for Councils to bid for to use for pothole repairs. Buckinghamshire County Council has been awarded the sum of £1,463,514.

This comes on top of the £2.5m already awarded from the Department for Transport as part of their Severe Weather Recovery Scheme.

Buckinghamshire County Council will now work with Transport for Buckinghamshire to determine the most efficient way to use the money to repair as many potholes as possible.
