Man knocked unconscious in Marlow assault

An appeal for witnessed has been launched by Thames Valley Police after a 33 year old man was seriously assaulted in Marlow on Saturday 21st June 2014.

The assault happened at approximately 11.55pm at the front entrance to the Pound Lane car park. The victim was in the car park with his girlfriend when they were approached by a group of men who proceeded to attack him.

One of the assailants shouted ‘You’re in our town‘ after which the victim was knocked unconscious. The offenders then got into a small dark car and drove off at speed.

The victim sustained cuts to his face and head as well as a large injury to his lip which will require surgery. He was treated at Wexham Park Hospital.

The offenders are described as a group of three or four males one of whom was Asian, the rest were white.

One of the offenders was described as white, late twenties or early thirties, about 5ft 7ins, stocky build, longish hair . He was pale, had blue eyes, was wearing jeans and possibly a red T-shirt.

Thames Valley Police as asking anyone with information that could help their enquiries to contact Thames Valley Police Enquiry Centre on 101.
