Kookaburra Mid Bucks Cricket League – Results 28th June 2014
Despite good weather in the week running up to Saturday 28th June 2014, heavy rain around midday on match day affected several games this weekend.
A victory over Wendover with an impressive rain affected innings of 216 for 10 keeps Bourne End at the top of the Premier Division and Wendover firmly at the foot of the Division. No play was possible in the Ballinger v Bradenham and Haddenham v Waddesdon games resulting in 14 points each and no change in League positions for these four teams. Holmer Green beat Monks Risborough who were all out for 137 in reply to Holmer Green’s target of 168 for 7.
Sadly this week Cadmore End 1st XI have withdrawn from Division 1 of the Kookaburra Mid Bucks Cricket League. All this seasons results to date are therefore removed and forthcoming matches against other teams will result in a ‘Free Week’.
In Division 1 there was no game for Knotty Green due to the withdrawal of Cadmore End 1st XI however they still head up the Division 1 League table. Aylesbury Town are second in the Division, their impressive 249 for 7 was too much for Ley Hill II who could only manage 144 all out in reply. Prestwood are now propping up Division 1.
