Four men sentenced to total of 33 years imprisonment for child sex offences
Four men from Buckinghamshire have been sentenced to a total of 33 years’ imprisonment after being convicted of sexual offences against a 14 year old girl.
The four men were sentenced at Reading Crown Court on 27th June 2014 after being convicted on 22nd April 2014 of twenty sexual offences dating between December 2011 and July 2012:
- A 28 year old man from Batchelors Way, Chesham was convicted of seven counts of sexual activity with a child and two counts of causing or inciting a child to engage in sexual activity. He was sentenced to 13 and a half years imprisonment.
- A 27 year old man from Benham Close, Chesham was convicted of two counts of sexual activity with a child. He was sentenced to five and a half years imprisonment.
- A 30 year old man of Drakes Close, Amersham was convicted of two counts of sexual activity with a child, one count of assault by beating. He was sentenced to six years imprisonment.
- A 25 year old man of Brockhurst Road, Chesham was convicted of six counts of sexual activity with a child. He was sentenced to eight years imprisonment.
All four men are being placed on the Sex Offender Register for life.
In summing up the judge thanked the victim for her courage in coming forward and attending the trial to give evidence.
