Fail-to-stop collision in Langley Park Road, Iver – Cyclist injured

On 14th June 2014 at approximately 4.30pm a blue Volkswagen Golf was involved in a fail-to-stop collision with a cyclist in Langley Park Road, Iver.

After the collision the vehicle then left the scene of the accident and travelled along Mansion Lane. So far police enquiries have been unable to locate or trace the driver of the vehicle.

A camera mounted on the bicycle recorded the incident which can be viewed below.

The cyclist, a 34-year-old man from London, sustained neck and shoulder injuries in the crash and was taken to Wrexham Park Hospital in Slough. He has since been discharged.

The driver of the Volkswagen Golf is described as aged in his twenties, white, of thin build, wearing a while t-shirt and had very short brown hair.

Thames Valley Police are attempting to trace the driver of the Volkswagen Golf. An appeal for information has been launched and the Police are requesting for anyone who can help with their enquiries to contact the 24-hour Thames Valley Police enquiry centre on 101 quoting URN 1139 14/6.
