Lightning struck the roof of a house in Ferndale Close, Stokenchurch at 2.22am on Friday 18th July 2014.
Two fire appliances attended from High Wycombe fire station and one from Stokenchurch fire station.
A turntable ladder and thermal imaging camera were used during the incident.
The firefighters made the property safe before leaving.
