An appeal for witnesses has been launched by Thames Valley Police following a serious assault on a 26 year old man in Downley, High Wycombe on 23rd July 2014.
At around 11.20pm Police were called after an altercation took place outside at a property in Brecon Lane, Downley which resulted with a man being stabbed several times.
The victim was taken to Wexham Park Hospital where he is described as in a serious but not life threatening condition.
A 47 year old man was arrested on suspicion of attempted murder and is currently in custody at Wycombe Police Station.
Thames Valley Police are asking anyone with information to contact the Thames Valley Police Enquiry Centre on 101.
