Thames Valley Police is appealing for witnesses to an assault on a driver by another motorist on the A41 Bicester Road near Aylesbury.

Between 6.45am and 7.30am on 11th July 2014, the victim, a 52-year-old man from Aylesbury, stopped his vehicle at temporary traffic lights at the Calvert new roundabout roadworks, westbound on the A41 Bicester Road.

A flatbed lorry stopped in front of him, also by the traffic lights. The driver of that vehicle then got out and approached the victim, who was in a black Vauxhall Corsa.

An altercation took place during which the victim had his hand trapped in a car door. This resulted in him sustaining an injury on his hand which required treatment at Stoke Mandeville Hospital.

A 33-year-old man from Aylesbury has been interviewed by police in connection with this incident.
