Grass verge catches fire on M40

At 10.07pm on Wednesday 6th August 2014 at 10.07pm fire broke out on a on grass verge on the Southbound carriageway of the M40 between Junction 6 (Watlington) and Junction 5 (Stokenchurch).

One appliance and crew from Stokenchurch and two from Oxfordshire attended.

The firefighters in attendance used one hose reel during the operation to extinguish the fire.
