Wycombe couple charged in connection with loss of £200,000

A couple from High Wycombe have been charged with abuse of position and money laundering offences.

A woman aged 47 and 52 year old man both of Spring Close, High Wycombe were charged on Sunday 3rd August 2014.

The woman was charged with four counts of abuse of position and the man was charged with three counts of acquiring criminal property.

The charges relate to incidents at Flowerland garden centre in Bourne End between January 2011 and November 2012 and also at Silverson Machines in Waterside, Chesham between November 2012 and December 2013 when payments totalling £200,000 were stolen from both businesses.

The couple were arrested on 3rd December 2013 and have been bailed to High Wycombe Magistrates’ Court on 18th August 2014.
