Gerrards Cross firefighters called to M25 crash involving a lorry, truck and two cars

On the morning of Wednesday 27th August 2014 a road traffic collision involving a lorry, truck and two cars occurred on the anti-clockwise carriageway of the M25 between Junction 17 (Maple Cross) and Junction 16 (M40 interchange).

At 11.16am one fire appliance with crew was despatched to the incident from Gerrards Cross fire station and one from Amersham fire station.

Four men and a boy were managed to escape from the wreckage of their vehicles before the firefighters arrived.

The firefighters made the scene safe before leaving the incident.
